Introibo ad Altare Dei
On Monday, October 29, 2007 I will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the Extraordinary Form. This will be the first such celebration in my short time as a priest. I have been preparing for some time, but, as always, I ask for your prayers. God-willing, there will be many such moments (and more public) in the future.
The savvy reader will ascertain that the Mass will be offerd in the Church pictured above (it is neither in Western Missouri nor in Eastern Kansas).

Ah, undisclosed... but will you disclose? To interested parties who would like to attend this private Mass?

The Mass will not be near the parish. Try St. Louis! I would disclose, but I don't know the time yet, and probably won't until just beforehand!

Actually, I had set the date (as motivation) and was going to offer this Mass in Kansas City, but my instructor, who served both as server and Assistant Priest, had planned to go to St. Louis the day before (Titular Feast of the Institute!), so I offered to drive him - and it worked out very well. Plus, I got to visit a parishioner (and several others from the diocese) who is (are) in the seminary at Kenrick!
Susan, If you have not yet been to Mass at SFdS since the INstitute arrived, I strongly reccomend it!
