Father,
Your parishioners are quite excited about this event and looking forward to it with great eagerness.
It will be a busy, but blessed week. I know of one parishioner who has prayed a nine YEAR long novena to have this form of the Holy Mass offered here. A prayer/dream come true for many.
Once again, your faithfulness is much appreciated.

Pretty darned ambitious Father. But great to hear a Dies Irie in St. Joe

You mean a Dies Irae

Dies Irie sounds like a line ("English") from a Jamaican rap!

Who is chanting your propers? From the Graduale/Liber or Rossini?

The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles will be chanting the propers, so I assume they will be using the Gradual!

I assumed from the announcement that you would be celebrating the Sung Requiem, until I saw Kansas City Catholic.

Next time you will do it. Will your Sunday Masses be Sung Masses or Low Masses?

Fr. Klingele,

Next time I will do it, but I want to get a few more low Masses under my belt before I attempt it.

When I begin the weekly Mass, it will probably be low Mass (especially during Advent) at first.

The seminarians served, and did a fine job, another challenge will be training parish servers for low Mass, let alone, the sung Mass.

I am curious, Father, how did your sung Mass go last night?
